When a filmmaker sets out on a project, be it a short film or a feature, the dream is to release it to an audience in a movie theater. Last night we finally fulfilled that dream thanks to the generosity of Carla Moscoso from Projekt K77 who let us use her nice little cozy theater in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin to present our short film to an audience. The evening went great and we screened the film about 8 times between 8:30 pm and 11 pm. Friends, cast, crew and general public attended the evening at Kastanienalle 77 to share our work and afterwards have a drink together. We partied til late night and the comments for the film where really good. We had a guest book where people could share their thoughts and here are some of them:
- “Sehr schöner Arbeit!” (Very nice work)
- “Great job! Without a real budget, a pretty good result”
- “Sehr schön, sehr berührend!” (Very nice, very touching)
- “I like the story, die lichtauswahl, die Musik” (… the lighting, the music)
- “Estoy encantada” (I´m delighted)
- “My pleasure being here, joining your Premiere, nice location, nice folks and inspiring film, having my own history in mind”
- “Der film hat mir sehr gut gefallen – vielen Dank!” (I liked the film very much, thanks a lot)
- “Ich bin berührt” (I´m touched)
Thanks a lot to everyone!
